Dean Rohrs was a student nurse for the Christian Barnard team that made the first successful human heart transplant.  Not only did they change medicine and the concept of transplants, they also changed the connection of the heart and ourselves in different religions and philosophies.  Dean now lives in Langley BC where she runs a large company.  She is a successful and dedicated Rotarian having been Vice President, Rotary International and is currently a trustee of the Rotary foundation.
